Reviving our brand: a fresh start to a sustainable future!

After four years of navigating through challenging times, we are thrilled to announce the re-opening of our online shop. Since our inception in May 2020, we have faced numerous obstacles, from the global pandemic to the conflict in Ukraine and the skyrocketing inflation. Despite our unwavering commitment to sustainability, the high return rates and escalating return shipping costs forced us to temporarily close our virtual doors end of 2023.

During the past nine months, we shifted our focus to our flagship store in Canggu, Bali. However, unforeseen circumstances led to the closure of our physical location, prompting us to embark on a new journey. As we prepare to build our own new space, we have decided to relaunch our online shop as a primary platform for our brand.

While our Etsy business continues to thrive, we recognize the importance of providing a seamless shopping experience for all our customers. By re-opening our website, we aim to reach a wider audience and offer more convenient payment options.

The most important news:

1. We are manufacturing and shipping from Bali
This results in a different sales prices for you. The prices on our website are excluding your local VAT and depending on your location, you have to pay the VAT when importing from Asia. For Germany, the VAT is 19%. 

2. We cannot accept returns
Unfortunately in Indonesia return packages are still handled like a normal shipping to us, resulting in paying up to 400% import taxes even on returns. In the past, if we had a return, we still need to pay import taxes and the invoice was much higher than the product prices itself. So unfortunately we decided, that we can not accept returns anymore. If you have a damaged item or received a wrong size, we will still find a solution of course. In this case, please contact us at support@blackcircle.me

3. Depending on your location you have to pay import tax from a certain amount
Please check online from which amount you are eligable to pay for import tax. For example, in Germany, you don't need to pay for it when your package value is less than 150€.
